You really can buy something for a nickel. Only in Port Dalhousie, all summer long
Add your 5 cents worth and join in the fun.
And thanks to Gemma at Greyscale Territory who designed a badge for us. It is up there in the left hand corner to be taken by anyone who is interested.

Now that the Old Hide House has closed it will be worth the drive to Port Dalhousie. All I need now is directions to Lakeside Park, please.

Andy, don't know if you got the email re directions. anyway, take QEW to Ontario St (St Catharines) and keep driving to Lakeport, turn left and follow signs to park and marina.
Serious fun for the grandkids!
That's 0.037€!? There is nothing you buy here with this. Fantastic! :-)
P.S. The entry is not 'JM in the wild' but 'JM@travelling'... Sorry!
... but the link works fine.
I have been there - and it is indeed only a nickel, so you can go for as many rides as you want and still have money leftover for ice cream after.
Five cents!! That's really amazing! And a lovely sign, too :)
5 cents for a ride? wow! my kind of place.:p

That's a lovely decorative sign!
Amazing how cheap it is! I LOVE the carousel...I'd probably take a pocket full of nickels :-D
I am too old for thrills now, I tell my son, "give me money, I also don't want to go on." Can you believe I paid full fares to accompany my son.
What a cool sign-so fun!
