i am intimidated with maps.:p
ReplyDeleteI love maps, the older the better. I have a US map that's, like 3 feet by 5 feet in my basement office. Ginormous
ReplyDeleteIt must be great comparing this to an updated map. :-)
ReplyDeleteWell, there's no Macdonald-Cartier Freeway so that makes it pretty old, at lest before 1952. (I googled it).
ReplyDeleteI like maps too. Have an 18th Century map of Asia on my office wall.
ReplyDeleteLove to pour over maps, old and new. Nice to compare then and now with your map.
ReplyDeleteThat looks confusing! Or is it just because I'm American? Ha ha!
ReplyDeletePat, half of this map is in New York State, so I don't think that's it. I would hate to have actually follow this one on a road trip! Though, I am enjoying seeing all those old small town names that have been swallowed up into bigger cities
ReplyDeleteIntriguing old map! Great comparing old and new roads and place names!
ReplyDeleteHi there - thanks for visting! I not sure if I have enough time in my life foe another meme, but you may see me from time to time!
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Australia
