Right, I didn't realize just how specific to Ontario this was! Concession Roads follow a grid pattern and are 1.25 miles apart. Generally Concession Rds run parallel to the water and Lines (or Side Road) run perpendicular.
In the city these roads have been renamed meaning most of the main arterial roads will all be 1.25 mi apart.
