no vendors here

Toronto is very restrictive when it come to street food carts.

As with most places, I would imagine the city wants their cut of the profits. It would be nice to think they are also concerned about public health safety issues.

actually, the city is far too worried about public safety, to the detriment of the enjoyment of the people.

Not sure that I have ever seen this sign (or similar) in Melbourne! Cute little graphic!

The city of Toronto is strict on anything in their streets!

I think are pavements aren't wide enough to attract vendors so no need for such signs but suspect if they were there would be.

Not enough foot traffic in our downtown area to have food carts. Removal zone of what?

@Gerald - the pavements are wide enough and there would be plenty of customers (the boardwalk is steps away)

@Scrappy Grams - removal of the food cart, I presume
