Politeness needed on both sides here...sign poster and sign reader! (We remember polite signs from when we visited London...they're more like yours here...no pleases or thank yous.)
And speaking of polite...I apologize, yet again, for my linking error. I need Mr Linky to yell at me when I do it wrong (or at least politely tell me that I'm an idiot!)
Why can't people just be polite and use their heads??? Lesley...I am finally back, but I cannot figure out how to add my signs post to the list. What am I missing? I looked but cannot find where I click to link. That's what happens when your computer dies and you are off line for 3-4 months. Please help me out. yes courtesy always helps doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteI think everybody should be polite enough not to do this, without the sign, shouldn't we?
ReplyDeleteSeems like a common sense type of thing but there are those who always need reminding.

some homeowners call the tow trucks when inconsiderate people park in their driveway.
ReplyDeleteSeems pretty obvious! :)
ReplyDeleteSad when a sign is needed to remind people of the obvious. This sign is very straight to the point.
ReplyDeleteHmm, interesting.

ReplyDeletesome people are not good judges of the size of their vehicle. in this area there is only room for one car (midsize) between driveways.
ReplyDeleteI once had my car towed when I didn't notice a driveway for the snow
