Ours is currently $1.58 per litre in Melbourne. It was travelling at about $1.28 per litre for awhile. Once the price creeps up it seems to barely drop back.
glad gerald translated, wow, triple what we pay? ours is about 3.09 a gallon. i get mine at the grocery store where i shop because for each hundred dollars you spend shopping, you get 10 cents off on gas. it adds up quickly!
am I reading this correctly-$131.40 per gallon? or is the decimal point in the wrong place? this seems like a good ad for riding the bus!
ReplyDelete131.4 is about the cost in the UK - that is pence per litre which is probably triple the equivalent price in the USA.
ReplyDeleteWow! That price looks high, but I'm assuming this is not dollars per gallon. Talk about sticker shock.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy that I am able to take transit for the most part.
ReplyDeleteCanada uses liters.
ReplyDeleteGas is 1.44 euros per liter here in Germany. And that's pretty low.
Ouch, it's painful in any currency
ReplyDeleteI just noticed this price this morning. Will we ever see $1 a litre again?
ReplyDeleteIt's bad everywhere.
