Interesting history, but so sad.
History that needs to be shared.
Interesting story. I think people meant well; getting assimilated meant getting employment. Now that the old ways are disappearing, we are starting to appreciate them.
A sad period of history. Hope one day these wounds will be healed.
At least there is now some attempt to retrieve some lost treasures. The sign sounds hopeful.
As a family researcher I'm happy this place of culture now exists for the descendants.
