Interesting display, hope it lasts a long time.. We saw lots of locks at Niagara Falls once, but the next time we went they had all been removed. I read that the weight of them can cause damage to the structure they are on.
Fun idea and that's a lot of love for sure. We saw a love lock in Vancouver in Stanley Park. It was our first time seeing that form of memorializing an engagement.
I've read about how some cities have problems with people doing that on bridges -- but it is a wonderful idea here as a work of art! Fabulous. Thanks for showing it and thanks for hosting.
I lost count!
ReplyDeleteHate the locks, but love the sign! <3
ReplyDeleteLooks like the heart is specialiteit made for this. Better then a bridge fence.

ReplyDeletewhat an interesting display! I'd never think that locks could make for such an attractive display.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet heart love sign!

ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of love locks, but this is a great idea because it is not destroying a beautiful view like in so many other places.
ReplyDeleteThat is an incredible array of love locks thoughtfully displayed.
ReplyDeleteA better way of displaying these as they can ruin local architecture!
ReplyDeleteThe love locks have caused so much damage in Paris that I am a bit surprised that some cities still allow it.
ReplyDeleteFun but expensive!
Much nicer than on a bridge!
