Right, I didn't realize just how specific to Ontario this was! Concession Roads follow a grid pattern and are 1.25 miles apart. Generally Concession Rds run parallel to the water and Lines (or Side Road) run perpendicular.
In the city these roads have been renamed meaning most of the main arterial roads will all be 1.25 mi apart.

Shalom Lesley. I saw a funny thing with an inflated sign today in Tel Aviv. Hope it gives you all a chuckle.
A lovely weathered sign!
are these street names?
i like the weathered look, too.
Nice photo!
Live the old timely feel!
Line I can understand, but not sure what a concession is? Fine photo.
How beautifully weathered! Not sure what the sign means but it seems most unusual!
Terrific sign.
