tv show Parts Unknown tweeted 'newfies' referencing his visit to Newfoundland and Labrador
these guys obviously see it as an affectionate term, not a pejorative one

Neat sign! Self-deprecating humour is always a winner. On another note, apologizes for breaking the link from last week’s signage. Ironically considering the tenor of the post, after changing the title from "connections" to “bridges”, I broke links and connections and don’t know how to fix it. :(
