The view on Dundas St E is not good, but according to yelp, the food at this non-traditional Chinese eatery is.

I'm not sure why the fish are swimming,
but 'Inochi' is from the Japanese word for 'life', according to their website.

I can't remember where I saw this particular tattoo place,
but there are several "tattoo removal" shops cropping up.
A nice touch is the skin pattern on the background of the sign.

This was a big mural in a narrow alley between the pub and the neighbouring building.
There was no way I could get it all in .

This new school, along with the recreation centre and library, opened two years ago.

new logo old logo
The old logo had been in use since 1965. A couple of years ago, a new logo was unveiled and is gradually appearing on all the stores.
The department store is still generally known by its nickname The Bay
which do you prefer?

I have a serious dislike for these stick family stickers that people put on the rear windows of their cars. But now, I am finding them in grocery store windows as well!

Next door to last week's (closed) yoga and cafe is this (open) pub.
It wasn't quite warm enough for patio seating,
but the chairs and tables were ready for when that day comes (and I believe it is finally here!)

get naked/go raw
This looked interesting, but when I tried to find out more information, I discovered it had closed - exactly one year ago and doesn't seem to have found another location to re-open.

This is one of those seasonal places that closes for the winter.
The sign previously said "see you in March",
but March marched on ... and nothing.
Last night I saw it was changed to April 1.
so, they are still in business?

The last BiWay store closed in 2001. It was a discount chain that you didn't want to admit to ever shopping in and is not particularly missed. Found this in a back alley in Barrie.
